2006 Most Valuable Player Named

BURLINGTON, MA> The voting period has ended for the prestigious Dog Pound MVP Award. Luke Lemelin ran away with the award after putting up some of the best numbers ever seen. Lemelin pulled in a remarkable 10 votes. Chris Doherty and Matt Gillis finished in a far second place with only 1 vote a piece.

Luke broke several Dog Pound records during the 2006 season to include:

Hits with 40 (Previous record 35)

RUNS scored with 34 (Previous record 32)

ON BASE % with .558

He also hit safely in every game and lengthened his perfect attendance streak throughout the 2006 season

Most hair as shown to the left

Most fans and teammates alike agree that Luke deserved to win the award. He was very consistent and came through with many key hits in timely situations. "I've been softball for years dude. I'm used to playing A-League so this C-League shit is kinda gay. I'm happy to win this award. I need some evans so this interview is beat. Supa-Lata" said Luke on WEEI this morning.
