Dog Pound Spring Training Begins April 1st

BURLINGTON, MA-Before we know it, the Dog Pound team will be in full swing. Several players have already began their rigorous pre-season work out schedules. "I've put on 5lbs of muscle this year. With more games expected to be played at Rotary Field due to the lights, I will need to bulk up to clear the fences." said Chuck Doherty.

The lights at Rotary Field have caused quite a stir around Dog Pound Nation. The Dog Pound traditionally performs poorly at Rotary and this is reason for some concern. "I'm happy about more games at Rotary, I've hit some bombs over there that still haven't landed." said an enthusiastic Bryan Riley. Others more weak (Dan Doherty), are concerned that the team will max out their Homeruns too early. Most believe this is not much of a concern considering the Dog Pound has only hit 3 HR's in a game once.

The first Practice will begin on April 1st. The practice schedule is listed below:
