DOG POUND MAY GET "BILLT" FOR SUCCESS

APRIL 27, 2006

BURLINGTON, MA>Billt to see time with the Pound? It just might be; rumor has it that, "the billt" spoke with Dog Pound manager, Dan Doherty early on Thursday morning and they agreed on a contract. The billt was unavailable at press time. Last season, Billt and Luke Lemelin combined to lead the Burlington Softball League with errors on the left side of the infield. Although both players were impressive with the bat, Dog Pound faithful hopes for them to play the field like they had prior to their signings with the club. The billt batted .475 with 19 RBI's, and 4 homeruns last season.

"Why the sudden change of heart? Why now when the season is so close? Where was the Billt when the Pound struggled for players?" asked Al from Everett to the Big "O" on WEEI. Dog Pound insiders believe that Tammaro was mentally preparing himself for A league softball and didn't have use for simple C league ball. Yet when the mighty Pipe Layers were denied acceptance into the exclusive A league, Coach Dan knew it was time to throw out the bait. "I was strategizing the proper time to cast the worm. He just may be biting." said Coach Doherty to a parade of reporters outside Mathworks during his lunch break.

Please join us on Friday, April 28th to welcome him back to the club.
