Dog Pound Congressional Hearing Amends Dog Pound Constitution

WASHINGTON DC - "Yesterday, April 23, 2008 - a date which will live in infamy - The Dog Pound Softball organization suddenly and deliberately overthrew the communistic views of  past dictator John Breslin. The Dog Pound was a fair and just organization until evil emperor Breslin commenced bombing and destroying the very core of the Dog Pound organization. With confidence in our great organization - with the unbounding determination of our players- we finally have obtained our inevitable triumph - God Bless Us", stated new head coach Bryan Riley to congress.

At the conclusion of this powerful speech, all members of congress jumped to their feet in applause. "I was becoming nervous that our great organization would soon become a complete socialized organization. Today was a most remarkable and memorable day for the Dog Pound. I congratulate and commend Coach Riley on his leadership, courage, selfless-service, and strong beliefs. The entire Dog Pound organization owes him a free beer" ranted Riley supporter and Pound newcomer Phil Luongo to the press.
