The End of The Dan Doherty Era
September 18, 2006
NATICK,
MA> Yes fans, the rumors are all true. The short-lived Dan Doherty era is
ending. Coach Dan led the Dog Pound to it's best ever record during the 2006
campaign. His legacy will be remembered by his players, coaches, and fans.
"Being the top dog on the Dog Pound had its advantages. I walk into parties and
girls are all over me. Chicks love dudes with power" said Dan Doherty to Glenn
Ordway during an interview.
Although Dan only coached one season for the Dog Pound, he
made some remarkable contributions to the team to include a growing fan base,
team chemistry, and a remarkable knack for finding the right type of people to
represent the team.

The 2005 MVP struggled during his first year as head coach. He expects his numbers to be back up to par during the 2007 campaign. "My struggles at the plate were directly correlated to my priorities. I looked for ways to help the team, my men, and then myself prosper in that order" said Coach Dan.
It's pretty obvious that Dan Doherty is going to enjoy his off-season as shown in these photos taken by paparazzi at a local party. "I thought he looked familiar when I first saw him at the party. I asked my girlfriend if that truly was Dan "The Man" Doherty and she confirmed it. We did what we had to do, once we found out it was really him" said a local groupie.
We all wish Dan the best and thank him for his remarkable contributions to the Dog Pound. Who will replace him? Only time will tell.
