Luke Lemelin Named 2008 Dog Pound Assistant Coach
March 1, 2008
BILLERICA, MA - Head coach Bryan Riley finally reaches an agreement with Luke Lemelin to name him assistant coach of the Dog Pound. "At first I was hesitant about accepting the position. I figured why should I assist this jack ass who turned on me last season during my campaign to be the 2007 head coach. Yet as the beers went down at the Emerald Rose, I was like; What's up Dude? I'll take it. " said Luke Lemelin to the media outside the Emerald Rose.
Coach Riley is expected to miss a few games this season due to mandatory obligations, so this years Assistant Coach is expected to play a larger role than in years past. "I have complete faith in Luke. He loves the game and possesses a winning attitude." said Coach Riley to the media.
Can Coach Lemelin live up to the high standards of previous assistant coaches like Chris Doherty, Jason Guidi, and Chuck Doherty? Only time will tell.
