WWW.DOGPOUNDSOFTBALL.COM Announces Brand New Statistic For Website Viewers

May 20, 2008

SILICON VALLEY, CA - "I want our team website to be the standard to which all other beer-league softball team websites strive. The website was developed to reduce productivity for all companies in which Dog Pound players and fans are employed. This new addition to the website will hopefully allows visitors to spend at least 5% more time doing something other than employment related duties" said a very respected Dog Pound Softball executive during the press release this afternoon.

The new statistic will display statistics while at the plate in the last inning with two outs. "This is a critical statistic that will allow management to evaluate a players ability in a clutch situation. If he can come through with twenty plus dollars on the line, he has what it takes" said assistant coach Lemelin to the media.

For the 2007 season, a season in which an unjust 30 pack cap regulation was displayed, the statistics will still display a batters productivity with two outs regardless of the fact that the player may have known that he would not owe a 30 pack because of hitting the cap prior.

Surprisingly, the team batting average in this situation is only .301 and players avoid owing the 30 pack 44.71% of the time.  The new statistic will be displayed at the bottom of the career statistics page.
